I voted for Obama twice and gave a shit ton of money to several Soros organizations during that time frame.

I call it "the wrecking ball of reality" hitting you.
Sometimes debate doesn't work--people won't learn until they personally experience the consequences of their decisions and votes.
And some don't even do that. "Who cares if gas is five bucks a gallon? Ukraine's eating happy!"
Exaggerated, but believe me, I've heard similar from them.
