Vavra famously spoke out against thse fags years ago, so the fact he capitualted even a little bit is seen as the betrayal that it rightfully is. If you can't stick to moral convictions, they weren't convictions in the first place, Danny. I'm sure KCD2 is actually going to be good and I'm sure that in the grand scheme of things these two inclusions are relatively minor. The problem is that you promised us all you'd act in a certain manner and now you're doing the opposite. It's not the dirty laundry on the floor that initiated the divorce, even if it was the kindling for that specific fight.
Worse yet, Vavra caught himself in a trap that makes this impossible to gloss over.
Because if he hadn't championed so hard against this stuff back in the day and become a sort of "icon" for it, then this likely minor thing probably would just be an easily forgettable bit in a much larger game.
But if he hadn't become so iconic for standing on those principles originally, his game likely would have fucking tanked and he'd never have the money to make this one in the first place. He rode zealot money to stardom and now gets to die by zealous ideals.
