The artist that still works there threw the entire dev staff for the game under the bus. Lumped the people that were interested in it with horrible evil, and made absolutely sure people knew exactly where he stood on it by tripling down until he was obviously told to back off from social media, because he can't shut up.

Reminder: They've been working on this since 2019 after The Outer Worlds released. There's a lot riding on this, such as the future of Obsidian.

This isn't even getting into the shenanigans being alleged by some youtubers about how Obsidian turned to shit with him being there.
