You got a unique character with the combat training if a Witcher, the magical abilities of a witch, and the abilities of elder blood to boot (though supposedly limited in power post Witcher 3, I am unsure of the canonicity of that). And instead let's just reduce her to Geralt with tits. Also probably butcher her personality too, and give her no femininity too. Its just tiresome slop.
True, it's a really rich character, and they've decided to butcher her for their own fantasy. If it didn't have Witcher on the title, would you play it? Then it really isn't worth it.

I don’t relate to any of these girl bosses. They’re insufferable. And their physicality and capability and heroics don’t reflect what I see from women in the real world. It was one thing when every tenth action protagonist was a woman beating up dudes twice her size. It was a novelty, a little harmless subversion. Now? AAA gaming is mostly women crushing men.
Meanwhile, the audience is still 90% male. What other industry is like this? Who else looks at their customer base and says “fuck all these people, we’re gonna focus on a completely different group”?

Her whole shtick was always her not being particularly feminine, so I can't even gripe about that. But yeah, such wasted potential with her backstory and powers. Like, they had a legitimate Mary Sue and they chose to dial her back? They better have a good fucking lore reasonable explanation how she took the trial of grasses.
