That's because Qatar is playing both sides of the fence wildly well. Their entire economy is based off of the US military base there. They are massive financial backers of Hamas and Hezbollah. They are the origin point of Al-Jazeera Arabia (which is openly western hating and jew hating, to the point that they declared Al-Qaeda to be a liberation organization). They have major donations into both the Democratic and Republican party. They are so influential that Mossad didn't even get the opportunity to attack Hamas leadership in Qatar, only when they traveled outside the country.
Qatar may need to be declared a terror state, and the US base may need to close.
