Remember this is why TikTok is getting banned in USA.
0 relation to being Chinese company or any other thing.

The sheer amount of bad ideas being spread via tiktok currently to both children and young women (the two most impressionable and stupid demographics in America) is so pronounced that banning it for any reason is a net good.
I'd be loath to censor anything on principle, but as its a Chinese spy program anyway with no control over it, then its not covered under that.
I'm not a fan of it either, but you don't let Tokyo Rose broadcast from New York City.
Open enemy action can't be tolerated as "libertarian principles". It's just not true. It's the intentional misapplication of the NAP and treating a collectivist aggressor as if he were an individual libertarian. All communists are a violation of the NAP, because all slaves are a violation of the NAP.
So you're saying that all Communists are a violation of the NAP and we should line them up against a wall and shoot them because they are an act of war simply for existing?
Ah it's good to see you making progress Gizzy.
YES
Not quite. Not all aggression should be met with the same force. There is such a thing as proportionality.
That's called losing.
If your enemy attacks you, then you kill him and end the threat he represents.
Remember: Communists aren't people.
I don't think I've ever met one of the hardcore libertarians that would disagree with that. The faggy pretend "left libertarians" that have no understanding of economics would, but they also think that libertarianism can be chopped into pieces and they can just take the "no drug laws / no anti-degeneracy laws" and throw away the rest.
They're as libertarian as the antifa fags are actually anti-fascist - a negative value.
And we know they'd never lie about something being a Chinese spy program (or muh Russia) to ban something they simply don't like....
I mean, we knew it was a Chinese company who made it from well before it got big or mattered whatsoever. Any company based in China is a vulnerability in that regard because all bugmen are part of the hive.
Your line of reasoning only works if someone didn't pay attention whatsoever until the government started talking about it.
To me, the argument falls flat knowing they still allow Chinese phones to be sold in the US, among many other Chinese products that can be used to do exactly what they're claiming to stop with the TikTok ban.
So until we reach perfection we should do nothing?
Alright, better apologize to Elon then since we can't deport everyone so we better just stop doing anything.
