Nelson Mandela didn't die in prison... But the country might have been better off if he had've.
Had he died in prison, 99% of people claiming they ''remember Mandela died in prison'' would have never heard of him ouside of South Africa.
Steven Biko died in police custody, and the only reason I know that is because they made a fictionalized movie of it I had to watch in middle school english class.
