That's a lot of the US too. I dunno if hospitals are in a lurch. They always claim to be. But everyone's a specialist. So they have a shortage of primary care doctors who coincidentally get paid basically shit.
Hospitals are "meant" to run at full capacity (not too many open beds) or they'll lose money. The docs make extra money for meeting vaccine quotas so not sure how accurate their reported salaries are.
