The majority investors are all hedge funds that have government sponsored objectives, and whom exist to protect the oligarchs at the top of each industry, so yes they want to bankrupt the industry.
I say: fuck it. Games shouldn't be investor-driven organizations anyway. They are the essence of a private business with a sole proprietor or partnership at the top.
