I think he recognises that a LOT of jobs are better done by AI and automation than inviting the third world to do it.

The other benefit is if you apply this to his dedication to the space industry is we can take a lot of the unemployed by automation and make them into colonists for space.

I'd rather have robots and AI doing the tasks given to third worlders so they are kept out of the West while we focus starbound.
