Asking this mostly because it’s been so long that I forgot: what is the ‘conspiracy theory’ behind Sandy Hook?
posted 6 months ago by redman012 6 months ago by redman012 +78 / -1

Asking this because that’s why the feds are doing this to Alex Jones and it’s been so long that I honestly only remembered that because of the posts from earlier.

Let's flip this around.

  • Why do you believe the government actually gives a shit about 'taking guns' from conservatives, when conservatives have shown they will never, ever ever do fuck-all about anything? They literally always comply with anything they are told. In fact, even suggesting "hey you should make your own illegal suppressor" gets you banned from every right-wing gun forum, because they're such obedient little fucktards.

  • Why have people believed for 23 years that 9/11 was staged by the government and yet literally all anyone who believes this pointless shit has just cried on the internet like a little fag? Can anyone actually describe a realistic timeline where they think they're ever going to be vindicated? If you haven't shot a fucking senator over even 10% of the evil shit conspiracy theorists allege, then you are not a serious person, and it's very probable that most conspiracy theorists do not actually believe this shit themselves, it's just an online LARP.

  • If the government staged it to 'turk mah gurnz' why did they wait until AFTER Democrats lost control of congress? Absolutely no gun control came out of this. Like... did any one of you ever fucking ask this and actually come up with an answer? What, was it not in their FY11 budget?

  • If the kids didn't die, why has not a single one of you actually tried to find these kids? They're like, literally 20 years old or so at this point. Where are the kids? Where are they???

  • If this was such a heinous conspiracy why didn't even one single person ever try to sneak/break into the school while it was still standing (which it was for quite a while) to actually see if there was evidence of bulletholes/blood? In fact, why does this level of investigation never seem to happen for any conspiracy ever?

  • Why do so many conspiracy theorists actively lie about everything? Someone in here claimed "omg there were no ambulances". I literally found an aerial photo of a dozen of them lined up at the school from the day of the shooting.

  • Why is so much conspiracy material seemingly tailor-made to make specifically only right-wingers go completely out of their mind with paranoia?

  • Why is so much conspiracy material anonymously produced or sourced by 'nobody'?

  • Why do all the Qonspiracy Qultists literally believe that they themselves and their stupid LARP nonsense is above being questioned, and they only lash out in psycho anger when you ask them basic fucking questions like anything I wrote here?

  • Why was "Dear Wolfgang", considered basically the Sandy Hook Hoax Bible, contain multiple outright fabrications and lies, like "Adam Lanza supposedly carried 50 pounds of ammo into the school"?

  • What is the point of believing any conspiracy when you've never done shit about any of them, you never will, and there's genuinely 0.00% chance of any "justice" or "truth" for any of them? What is the difference between believing Vegas was shot up by the CIA just for fun, and believing the moon is made of cheese? Nobody cares and what you think will never matter, and you'll never prove otherwise, so why bother?

Here's one explanation that actually addresses all of this:

Conspiracy theories are literally invented by the government to psychologically manipulate a potentially 'dangerous' right-wing audience into psyching themselves completely out of their minds with paranoia in order to keep them controlled.

Do you all think that MKULTRA "only works on liberals"? No you fucking retards, it works on you.

Here's how the government sees the right wing.

  • Heavily armed.
  • Distrustful of government.
  • Masculine/violent/'tough'.
  • Unintelligent.
  • Gullible.

Groups like that historically have posed active danger to governments. They're the ones who throw revolutions. So if you're the US Government, and you have your hands tied by things like the First and Second Amendment, how do you control these guys?

You psych them the fuck out.

Every single right-winger, right now, thinks there's "feds" everywhere. They trust nobody. They probably think their own children are feds. They are so paranoid that they're incapable of forming a coherent movement.

Look at how ConInc Twitter Grifters like DC_Drain, Jack Posobic, Gunther Eagleman, and Tony Seruga just fabricate complete nonsense every single day and get a hundred thousand 'likes' for their utterly preposterously stupid claims that never turn out to be real.

Conservatives will believe anything as long as it tells them what they want to hear.

The government knows this. It's why you can find so much conspiracy material even just by searching Google.

It's why every single conspiracy theory just hammers home the idea that:

  • The government is God.
  • The government is all-powerful.
  • The government is all-knowing.
  • The government is all-seeing.
  • The government is the most evil entity to ever exist and will murder you in an eyeblink if you step out of line.

In reality, none of this is true. The government is weak, ineffective, stupid, and discordant. There's a very long list of people who the government "should" have murdered, but hasn't. Like Alex Jones, for starters.

But all that matters is if right-wingers believe that it's true. Because as long as they believe it's utterly hopeless to resist, they'll never do fucking anything.

And they never have.

And they never will.

They piss away thousands of hours of their lives on this stupid made-up fairy tale shit, squinting at pixels, friendless and alone in their paranoid little delusions, getting more obese by the second in their disgusting, sad little shitty trailers.

CONSUME CONSPIRACY, THEN GET READY FOR NEXT CONSPIRACY.

I added a whole bunch of stuff likely while you were writing that actually talks about what you wrote.

In particular:

The MKUltra program was real.

This is the most interesting one.

MKULTRA was real and yet every single conspiracy theorist fancies themselves immune to it. They genuinely believe everything is a psyop, but even though they can never actually tell you "where" any given conspiracy theory came from, or why there is only ever "one" theory (and not competing ones they argue about), they just trust blindly that all of it is being created by their, as you described it, crack team of Batman/Rorschach "investigators". They don't ever question that maybe they could be getting fooled.

So if anything, it is evidence to suggest that conspiracy theory content is probably being created by the government.

And I think the reason so much of it is completely irrational is kind of like the same reason why phishers and scammers will intentionally make their scams a 'little' obvious: because they want to bait the dumbest, most gullible people.

It explains quite a bit, like for example, why they think the CIA used magical technology to 'hack' Michael Hastings's car, yet the CIA is magically powerless to stop anyone from talking about it on all these websites that literally operate out of the United States. Almost as if they have no interest in actually stopping anyone from talking about conspiracies.

It's a comforting thought to them. As they sit at their computers in their otherwise boring lives doing nothing of real value, it allows them to tell themselves that perusing 4chan and posting salacious things on forums is "fighting the good fight". It's the same slacktivist attitude we see over on TDW with all of the "meme warrior" bullshit. A way for boring useless people, who to their credit are at least on the right side and do believe the right things, to tell themselves that they're a soldier in the fight of good and evil, all without ever having to do anything but sit at their computer.

100%

And it's why I fucking hate conspiracy theory.

It has turned the right wing into a bunch of impotent obese whining terminally-online fags who think they're making a difference, but are not. The amount of man-hours wasted on 9/11 conspiracy is insane, and frankly it doesn't even matter if 9/11 was or wasn't a conspiracy - all that does matter is in 2024, exactly >zero< right wingers have "done something" about 9/11 conspiracy. So if they believe it but don't do anything it, does it matter if they believe it? What is the difference in ACTIONS between someone who does or doesn't believe it was a conspiracy?

None. The people who think it was a conspiracy have exactly as much an impact on the world as the people who do not.

So with that in mind, does it actually matter if it was a conspiracy or not? It's been a quarter of a century.

Excellent point. I'll remember that.

I'm not 100% convinced that most of them don't know on some level that it's all a made-up LARP. Because I can't really think of any reason besides that why someone who really genuinely thought that the CIA machine-gunned 500 people in Vegas for nothing more than a laugh has decided that the proper response to such an atrocity was to just whine online and go about their lives.

The Boston Massacre involved shooting all of like 6 people or so.

My eyes nearly roll out of my head every time I hear some right-winger shouting about their guns and 'defense against tyranny'. Like you fuckin' retard you already believe that you're living under the most evil, murderous government on the fucking planet, and you don't do shit, nobody believes you're going to take up arms, especially not when you think everybody around you is a fed.
