Zoe Quinn ended up being the catalyst, but gamergate was inevitable. A lot of people really started asking questions after Gone Home, a literally gay walking simulator, received universal acclaim and wildly inflated review scores from the converged video game media.
Man… I haven’t heard that name in a long time.
It’s so crazy to think about how long they’ve been at this.
