I'm still struggling to get why they have such a hardon for Pratt in particular.
Like, he isn't the only right wing guy in Hollywood, nor the only actual church goer. Heck he is a low power, milquetoast guy without any of the pull many of the much more right wing guys have in that sphere. Every reason I can come up with I can think of a few guys who don't receive a fraction of the hate he does while being the same.
It really seems to be a mix of him daring to be in their Capeshit (and tainting it) and him never taking the bait and responding to their constant attacks. Neither in defense of or cowing.
I think it's what u/Mpetey123 said and also that he is non-de-script enough that he can stand in for everything they project onto white, straight, male Christians.
He's fairly relevant, he looks like a protestant sort of normal guy and they hate normalcy and all it represents, so in a way, it's his very milquetoast-ness that acts like a beacon for them to project everything they hate about Christianity on to.
