Isolationism was popular through the time period after World War I. It only became a bad thing because the Holocaust and how could you let that happen?

The Holocaust still looms large in the minds of... Certain individuals. Therefore, a lot of policy that is shit for America will be done in favor of Never Again. And America didn't even do the Holocaust. So like we have to fight Russians ( who also did not do the Holocaust)... To keep that Ukrainian Jewish population safe
