TL;DR: Mark Kern is making zero progress with his game Em-8er, a game that was backed with Kickstarter and has multiple preorders post Kickstarter, and people are demanding that he either make progress even if he has to hire more people, or declare it a failure and refund everyone.
People initially ignored the initial allegations from 6 months ago aside from probably warning him that he needs to hire people due to the fact the claims were initially considered associated with the regressive left, but shit is getting out of hand.

I did hit X, still can’t find anything. Some discord screenshots is all that’s evidenced with little context. Looks like would have to dig deep to find anything on your own.
Maybe, maybe not. Haven't followed it, but it does sound like he dropped the ball when it comes to his project, maybe bit off more than he could chew.
That said, the timing is suspicious. Has he shit the bed? Maybe. I don't know enough. But he's also been making more waves culturally; this is an attack, even if it might be partially based on truth.

It does seem like Grummz's project is a joke, and there were people hurt by it. He can't seem to show any progress, and it's been largely dead for years now. Point remains; I feel no need to help the left (and, again, not saying that's Sid, but that's who's causing some of this drama) get their scalp. Grummz fucked up. I'm not going to defend him, and I'm also not going to help his attackers; he has to face the consequences of his own actions...or inactions.
As someone who never donated to the project, I don't have a dog in the fight. If his backers feel slighted, they should file for refunds. But it seems to largely be his enemies, not his backers, who are trying to cause a fuss.
Buy everything on credit card (and pay it off.eveey month you degenerate). Charge backs are awesome. I would have lost thousands to scammers over the years if I used my debit card instead.
