Willie Brown is almost exactly the embodiment of "Clay Davis" the fake State Senator of Maryland in "The Wire". You know, this guy; or more relevantly this guy. Willie Brown even sounds like Clay Davis.

Willie Brown is the reason that Kamala was able to out-maneuver Obama, Jill Biden, and Nancy Pelosi at the same time. He's a cunning political operator, and he's not ideological. He's corrupt as shit, and a proper old-style sleeze-bag politician. His political loyalty is directly correlated to how much money he brings in to his loyalists and allies. He's at least as good as Biden in his prime.

The problem is that Kamala Harris is shit. She's the only way for him to ever get a chance at the white house, but she's a terrible medium for that success. He's trying to play chess with checkers pieces. Somehow, he managed to defeat 3 grand masters so far... but taking on Trump is a whole different ball game. Especially since he had to burn several bridges to even have the opportunity to make his move.

What you are seeing is hard-core, old-style, pandering. White Dudes For Harris comes from Willie Brown, not the Democrat intelligentsia because they won't have it. Brown knew a jew couldn't win, so Nancy pushing Shapiro was never gonna work, so he skipped him and Shapiro might be holding a grudge in PA. Brown knows Kamala needs to claw back some white men because she's a retarded bitch and her party is racist against 73% of the population, so "White Dudes For Kamala". But the activists who he employs to make those commercials fucking hate white men. Brown knows he's loosing black men that could keep some states in play (like Georgia and North Carolina), so he just panders again for money and handouts. Willie knows she's losing Jews, so "Israel has a right to defend itself." Willie knows she's loosing Muslims, so "The Palestinian People must be free and respected." It doesn't matter if the statements are contradictory, as long as each person hears what they want, that's what matters. Sort it out later. Willie Brown keeps loyalty rewarded with embezzlements and favors, but he's got no social network on the national stage, and Kamala's too unlikable to get the loyalty he had in California.

Willie would probably be a real threat if he were running himself; but there's no way he could have entered the primary and won against Joe Biden. So this was his gamble. Now, he's losing so his strategy is maximum overdrive pandering and emotional appeal. He doesn't give a shit about ideology. He cares about getting votes by whatever mechanism is available. He doesn't care what lies he has to tell, or what story he has to make, or what utter bullshit he needs to appeal to, if he gets the votes, he'll figure it later after he wins.
