Mostly because she will be gang affiliated with one of the local Somali gangs.
I think a large swath of the police that are placed in power for 'diversity' reasons are explicitly part of the criminal element, and their job is to protect their particular criminal racket from within the police.
The problem is that we actually need exactly the people who are staying away from policing, to be police. As with politicians, the policing institution is trying to explicitly drive out integrous, meritocratic, stoic people because disingenuous, cronyistic, emotionally incontent people are easier to control from a tyrants perspective.
You seem like the sort of person who has the moral compass I'd want in a law enforcement officer, but I guess that's also a large part of why you didn't end up in that profession.
Exact same thing happens in Germany too regularly. Police hire based on diversity and suddenly "somehow" raids and investigations get leaked to foreign gangs before police can seize any evidence.
It's like the Trump Assassination 1. You don't need to tell people to be corrupt, you can just place incompetent people in critical positions and purge anybody who notices that things are worse with that bottleneck until the desired outcome happens.

The man who least wants to be king is the best man for the job.
That’s true. I do regret not joining the police after I got out of the military. But you are right. They do seem to run out those we would want

Thank you. Likewise.
