That it could have been generated by someone other than the Japanese as a means of further stoking tensions and unrest by outside agitators with financial interests(ie, China looking to further tank Ubisoft so Tencent can buy them up and give themselves direct control over another western entertainment institution which they can then wield as a weapon).

If Ubisoft tanks it would be because of their own woke behavior not because of people correctly criticizing them.

Iirc, France have legislation about how foreign entities can buy french companies.
While it might be possible, I doubt that the french commerce controllers or whatever they are named, would approve such a buyout.
