So there was the tranny writer. But they said she was fired and the lore was respected.
Ive seen nothing to indicate either way. But im interested if there was any dessecration and what it was.
Anybody reviewed it thats trustworthy?

The biggest potentially woke things are the female guardsman lieutenant (already was female in the first game but this one is indian) and a space marine being black male. The first is a very minor part and isnt overbearing and the second is really just how much of a lore purist you are since almost all depictions of ultramarines has been white male but there is nothing lore wise disqualifying a black male from being in the chapter.
As far as woke goes it seems they did a good job purging the hell out of it because at worst there are only casting choices remaining.
For anyone that doesn't know 40k, female guardsman are a normal part of the setting. Unfortunately the one from the first game was way hotter.
Good to know. I'm not a 40k fan but saw someone's playthrough and was cringing at that bossy woman telling the big men what to do. That said just because it's part of the lore it doesn't make her any less annoying.
Thankfully it's only a few missions.
She wasn't bossing the Space Marines around. She doesn't have that authority, she was providing information based on the situations they are in.
I looked at the video again and it's the woman named Major Sarkaana I'm recalling. She was definitely bossing someone around but you're right it wasn't the Space Marines, just some other slightly smaller grunts.
That's fine for Warhammer 40K standards. It wasn't anything extraordinary about her. You got just as many female officers as male officers in the Imperial Guard units, aka, the normal people fighting.
You'll know W40K jumped the shark of wokeness when they include female Space Marines. The Custodes are a different sub faction and are not Space Marines, that can be a subject for a different time
There are lore reasons why females can't be Space Marines, as the gene-seed that alters a person into a super human is not compatible with the female body. They'll die and probably risk mutating the gene-seed, which is very very bad. Those things are precious and takes a lot to make one.
The meat grinder does not discriminate.
Shouldn’t (the circumstances around) a meat grinder discriminate more? Anyone in a constant, multigenerational, existential war like the Imperium is naturally compelled to start thinking about their reproductive bottlenecks.
It's 40K. I highly doubt anybody breeds normally any more. Those motherfuckers would totally be using dystopian genetic vats to buffer their ranks.
Female guardsmen are absolutely not a normal part of the setting. They didn't even have miniatures till last year. In imperial guard fleets the women are too busy having and raising babies to fight on the front line. This was a core part of the imperial guard lore as casualties are high for them and this was a major way in which they replenished their numbers. Females being just as numerous as men in the guard is a new woke retcon from games workshop.
Let's remember the ultrasmurfs had a half human half eldar in the chapter when the lore wasn't watered down slop. A black guy isn't that much of a stretch.
There's one female side character in the game with a speaking role and absolutely no attention is drawn to her being female. It's completely faithful to the 40k setting with very, very minor nitpicks like "a character briefly has the wrong kind of gloves with his power armor", there are no moments where the game turns and winks at the camera or mocks you for enjoying it. Absolutely no tranny stink made it into production at any point. If you have strong opinions about Primaris vs Firstborn you won't be happy about an early story moment but that's a storyline thing, not a leftist politics thing.
It looks grindy as fuck. I'm seeing people run past all the "content" to finish missions faster so they can level up gear for minimal gains. It's just stupid.
All the LP and streaming I've seen of the game has it come across as... well, kinda boring. Maybe you just gotta play it to enjoy it.
I can't say I'm a fan of the way they tried to do the squad mechanics - either you get some bros to help you play the game or you've got two annoying bots running around. SM1 atleast had several solo missions. And the scuff has been all over the place.
Plus, there's all the extra DLC coming down the pipe.
Also, I don't like the new guy they got to play Titus. Yeah, yeah, I know, I know. Still irks.
Weirdly enough, SM2 has made me dislike the Primaris even further. It seems the more I get actively exposed to it, the more I'm coming to actively dislike it. When it initially came down the pipe, I was fairly ambivalent and neutral, but the more I've gotten into the model side of things, the more Primaris annoy me. It's weird.
I might pick it up in a few years at a deep discount for kicks and skittles, but beyond that...
I saw some footage from a supposed female custodes that looks like handsome Squidward in a wig, but I don't know, if it was from this game or something else.
That was the tithes. Second episode and easily the worst of the three since its just a female custodes girl bossing everyone and dooming the planet.
The third episode has more girlbossing with even more people getting killed because of it but this time by orks.
SyntheticMan is pretty positive towards it.
Woke or not, the story and game is pretty mid. Id say wait for a deep cut sale
It's probably gonna see some expansions
Ive seen/heard nothing bad about it other than "repetitive" but that comes with the videogame territory.
