How on earth is it that the people with authority to make decisions on how to spend hundreds of millions of dollars are this dogshit stupid? Running this shit by any middle schooler would have let you know this was an awful idea, but no, let's let people this fucking retarded have this much power.
Society is completely broken.
Because it all about social leverage and not competence off the higher ups these days, and they can most of the time mitigate their losses.
So you can just charm your way into a position that lets you squander $400 million without being remotely competent? There's some piece to this puzzle that I am missing.
That corruption means that you want to have incompetent people in which you can control?
All you have to do is ensure that there is a mass of people to blame that is not you which means that your ass is covered?
