If the denial doesn't work, I think the next step is equivocation. I don't think the left is gonna try to say it's a good thing, they'll just say you're a hypocrite for eating pigs but not cats. Vegans already have those talking points down, as do the bug eaters equivocating crickets and worms with shellfish.

The only real answer is "No, and if you touch my cat I'll kill you." Absolutely no quibbling.
