A happy birthday goes out to my fellow leaders of Gamergate. Wayback Machine archive is here for those having trouble with archive.is today.
So, what have you learned over the past decade which makes you think Gamergate is still a cause worthwhile enough to shack up with the other 3 or 4 people (Tops!) who fight the good fight?
Any favourite moments?
Post anything you want about Gamergate, the past ten years and the ten ahead :)
(police talking to crying woman) "What did they [gamers] do?"
(crying woman) "They... they leveled up!"
~~ DIRECTED BY DICK WOLF ~~
edit: For those out of the loop, it was a Law And Order SVU episode ("inspired by real events!" TM) about Gamergate-loving nerds gang-raping a woman in order to... gain high score points in a virtual game of some kind... Which totally for realzies happened... Apparently. And after the travesty of the episode, the screen goes black, and DICK WOLF just flashes across the screen (as Richard Wolf is apparently the director of that episode).
Early on when we sent mass mails to various advertisers so they pulled from gaming "journalist" websites.
Sadly reddit just implemented a rule of "you are not allowed to post the email of a person in a company" (which is obviously only applied against the correct targets) and killed that.
Killed it? That kept going off reddit for a long time, I didn't even recall they tried that until you mentioned it. Reddit was never the primary discussion zone for any of the real autists coming up with ideas and actually doing shit.

I'm sure all of Hollywood thanks him for his involvement with the Borderland series and the huge success that has had at the box office this year :)
Thanks now that'll be stuck in my head for a week
