No. I called you on your false bravado. Your attitude of "we'll definitely rise up if this injustice comes to pass" is encouraged to keep you continually saying "we'll do it next time!". It's not doomer shit. Doomer shit is saying that nothing can be done. It's saying that people still have good lives for the most part and don't want to lose that, even in the face of terrible human rights violations.

What is more likely to get people to do nothing is convincing them to hold onto their safety blanket by deluding themselves that they're totally going to do Something™ next time. Just ignore the countless other times you could have done Something™ and didn't.
