Diageo is one of those globalist megacorps that buy up all kinds of drink brands: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diageo#Brands They're the Unilever, Nestle, etc. of the alcohol world.
A good rule of thumb is, if you see expensive ads for something (TV, big magazines, newspapers, etc) it belongs to one of the globalist megacorps that should be avoided.
Yea, I used to like Guiness and Kilkenny but I gave up on them many years ago. Not the first time Diageo did some shit. Don't remember what it was back then but I've been avoiding them for a long time.

The only one that's a real shame to me is Guinness. No beer compares, I think. Everything else they sell has alternatives that are as good or better.

They're heavy in the Scotch, so I got hit. Caol Ila, Lagavulin, Johnny Walker.
They also nabbed some decent budget American whiskey, such as Bulleit and Dickel, as well as the biggest Texas whiskey, Balcones.
Gordon's ~is~ was my go-to budget gin.
Thankfully, they're light on the rums.
But, yeah, Balcones and Lagavulin hurt, as well as Johnny Walker and some of the other more budget stuff.
This is why we can't have nice things.
That said, I already didn't spend money that I probably would have spent on Diageo brands. So that's a win.
It's easy to boycott when you don't like their stuff. It's harder to boycott -- and at the same time more essential -- when you do like their stuff.
The absurdity of a liquor giant claiming that Crowder & Alex Jones aren't wholesome enough for their brand image.
It's not about their brands or products. It's about using their market position to push an agenda. Literally "Burgers?".
They also just made all of their twitter feeds private

List of Diageo brands, for those curious.
Son of a bitch, they even got Balcones.
Sounds like tortious interference in commerce.
