There is no 'k' in the word for when setting something on someone. You sic an attack dog on target. An attack dog is sicced on a target. Someone sics an attack dog on a target.
"Sick" is a misspelling that comes about from the similar pronunciation and a music group getting it wrong when titling a song in the 90s.
