Don't worry, no images so no looking at his face but yeah, barely 24hrs and he's gone, no longer going to be working there or in any future videos. Despite getting raked over coals for saying it initially, this SunnyV2 video became very prophetic.
If only we could make ALL degenerates leave YouTube in 24hrs but because this one had even Sneako and Keemstar looking like moral authorities in comparison, probably a special case unfortunately..
Remember. All big youtubers, have agencies backing them. They didn't became big organically
At this point, Felix/Pewdiepie is unfortunately the exception than the example others are following:
Got big through reactions, got bought by Disney, lost it due to a bridge or was it that fiver thing, still got bigger independently, made his money, got married, retired to Japan where raising a family.
He's like the wholesome example in this sea of shit.
Felix was an eye opener for a lot of us. We thought he was an annoying kids clown. But he turned out to be one of most ethical youtubers in a sea of pseudo stars.
Im glad pewds had settled for chiller content.
Wild west youtube was best. It spurred creativity and innovation. Youtube is now corporate slop and a content slop factory. I hope elon or someone buy youtube.
I watch a lot of small channels, and several of the channels in the 6-7K subscribers range have talked about once they got monetized (or at the very least, 4-5K subs), they almost immediately began getting emails from YouTube management agencies.
Im at 78k. Never got one.. but then again i got demonetized back then. Mostly because youtube didnt like bikini outfits in video games. The sole reason.
Buncha faggots at yt.
There's your problem. You should have done the new hotness, like cishet huwytemaans problems with good vidya.
I'd wager they keep track of the Play Buttons that go out and use that as a metric. That 100k one is probably the size that gets the big name companies interested.
Smaller ones probably just look for engagement rates and marketability, so if someone is super small but popping and has an angle or correct image they'll show up to invest/grow them into a big name.
I wouldn't be surprised if there are some 'dormant' channels with nothing but bot subscribers cultivating for years and eventually getting assigned to someone. People talk about youtubers selling out, but corporations are taking it a step further and starting from the ground-up using actors to pretend to be a regular person. It lures viewers into a false sense of trust. It's like the new reality TV: 99% of it is scripted but people still get duped into thinking it's somehow more real than a Disney studio.
There is basically no quality control about this. Any kid with a phone or tablet will watch and fall into a parasocial relationship with a Youtuber, thinking it's a real person, so the actor can sell shit.
