You remember when Time tweeted out how the the-photo-that-shall-no-longer-be-named would (obviously) the cover photo for the next issue? You also know how you saw a story the other day how an unnamed AP editor was going around telling other journalists how they needed to downplay that photo, because it make Trump look to good?
What a surprise, right? They take something that is obviously a positive look for Trump, and change the cover into something that turns his rally into a dark grey disaster, with the flag presiding overhead - over Trump's "destruction of democracy".
Again - you might think you hate these people enough, but you still don't.

It’s literally what they are going for, though. Associating Trump with a garbage strewn rally (I love how even that is more propagandizing on their part. You know they want to imply how bad Trump fans are, but it’s almost like something happened here to cause panic, and for them to leave abruptly…), with the US flag (the only thing in color) hanging sadly overhead. The whole thing is meant to flip the script. To change that inspirational photo, and switch the messaging from, “We just saw a guy come mere inches from having his head exploded, and still defiantly not only refusing to give up, but actually seeming to double down, and there’s our flag waving proudly in the background”, to, “Look at this messy grey sadness. Look at how Trump is sullying our country”.
I don’t care if the left puts some flowery speech on there about “unity” at this point. We have decades of them abusing this same ploy. We know all they want is surrender to their politics, and compliance.
It’s so insulting to read them write that they couldn’t use the photo because it was photoganda, but to replace it with an utterly disgusting piece of propaganda. That’s absolutely what that new shot is. In fact, it’s edited to be the propaganda they want (turning everything but the flag black and white), compared to the original cover, which was a raw shot.
