I suspect part of it is also that a lot of young men get roped into leftist politics because of marijuana and abortion. Hedonism and a lack of responsibility are very powerful appeals for young people.
Wait until they find out that abortion doesn't do jack shit for men and their life of hedonism comes to an end because her majesty wants a meal ticket and no amount of simping will get him out of his new lot in life.
I try not to be preachy about those types of things, and I do think that type of attitude alienates a lot of young people from conservatism.
That's why I thought the way Trump handled the abortion question was pretty tactful. During the debate I remember him saying, "Some people are very against that, and I say follow your heart...but you got to get elected. You got to get elected to do a lot of other things."
