The thing is that out of ALL this shit since I heard about it over the weekend and decided to sit on it as I had a feeling it would collapse like this, Dr Disrespect is the ONLY one that comes out better out of this:

If allegations true with evidence: he should've been criminally investigated
If false: New ways to sue Twitch, this shitstain and now he also knows who his true friends are.
This fucker:
If allegations true with evidence: Why the FUCK did you let a predator to roam free for YEARS, to sellout a show!?
If false: you're fucked, good luck getting employment
Twitch:
If True: they hid the fact he was a predator, paid him off and they're trying to say they're a safe platform for kids.
If false: they could've at least said because of the NDA that wasn't the reason, by remaining silent like this a lot of content creators might switch to YouTube because you were literally going to let an innocent man be libelled with one of the worst crimes when YOU had evidence otherwise.
Edit: hearing some weird stuff now, apparently Dr Disrespect is taking a break now and there's rumours a company he co founded shut him out. I think the lawyers may be coming in on this one as if this all bullshit but cost him this, sounds like a defamation case.
The worst case for Dr Disrespect is probably also the most likely outcome. Uncertainty.
The guy mouthing off is an ex twitch employee, so theres no money in suing him and very likely no grounds to go after twitch themselves. The only good lawyers would do is stopping him spreading bullshit. Odds are he'll take his 15-minutes of clout then shut up and slink off, it'll be a year or more before it gets to court, if it ever does, or anything is made public. In the meantime nothing will be resolved and there will always be a small number of people going "weren't there rumors he's a pedo?" despite zero actual evidence.
It's harder to do because he won his lawsuit with Twitch so then anyone who says that you can turn around and say ' you're not watching Twitch are you because they hid that for years'
I have a feeling the only ones pushing this by the end of this week are the same people calling not taking your kids to pride parades abuse so it'll be ignored.
