Industry events are cringe anyway, and I'm PC Masterrace on top of that, so...

I need a statistical analysis on the number of games with female protagonists (particularly black “women”) that are coming out. Seems like the VAST majority of games whether it be indie or otherwise now star women rather than men.

• Doom Eternal was rock-paper-scissors crap, so I’m skeptical about how the new Doom game is going to turn out.
• I’m skeptical about how they are going to butcher Gears of War E-Day,
• The Perfect Dark gameplay looks pretty sterile and boring, particularly with the x-ray vision crap. Not to mention Joanna’s industry standard masculine jaw.
• Assassin’s Creed Shadows looks worse and worse as they show gameplay, especially the giant black man that is performing genocide on the small Japanese men in gameplay.

Expedition 33 looks interesting - nice to see someone do something new with the turn-based format rather than replacing it with subpar hack 'n slash.

Doom: The Dark Ages has promise. I just hope they don't lean into the game design of Eternal.

Not sure how I feel about them repurposing the Doomguy player model for Joanna Dark though.

I only read highlights. Doom game is only thing that interests me, but if it’s like Eternal and is a platforming game I’ll never even consider playing it. I have going through 2016 Doom probably 5 times, I deleted Eternal after a couple hours. I hate it.

Only a handful of games were decent enough

KCD2, Wokung black myth, Doom dark ages and mmmaybeee stalker 2? (They did put some niggers in the zone, which makes no sense because there is no niggers in Ukraine)

Everything else was slop
