He lives in Pleasanton, CA according to his Twitter profile. That's in the greater Bay area, southeast of Berkeley and San Francisco proper.

He likes to play bullshit word games. You'll be able to find his products in NY, but it'll be technically true that he's not personally doing business there because it's his publisher doing it.
