The Yakuza are just criminals. Marginally better than cartels or gangs, but they still make their money with protection rackets, drug dealing and human trafficking. Also, they force young girls into prostitution and into illegal porn (which ironically is often produced with male Africans). Many of them are behind bars for rape, murder or assault. Behavior that is usually condemned on here.

People need to stop romanticizing these failures and losers. The Japanese themselves absolutely hate them and foreigners pretending otherwise come across as weirdo weebs with little knowledge.
