A lot of it is due to the Russia-Ukraine thing. Poles resent Russians and Germans equally, and their independence is still recent enough that nationalism actually matters to them. For as long as the pressure on their sovereignty was coming almost entirely from the German-dominated EU, that made it easy to resist, but now they feel threatened by Russia again, whether justifiably or not, so the pro-Western globalist camp has gained a lot of ground.
