you know what? think of this as the same as how games that used to have pretty bikini girls was acceptable 15 years ago but now its not because of woke. now apply this to this "black samurai" thing. 15 years ago it wouldve been acceptable because this BLM bullshit and wokeness hasnt manifested to the level we see today. 15 years ago it would've been seen as cool, similar to the example people use, Afro Samurai.

Any game that attracts woke makes the game unattractive imo (even if it is not a woke game).. its like wearing your hat backwards is cool at school, but then your parents pick you up from school while wearing their hat backwards. suddenly its not cool. like they start trying to say "that character is trans coded" or some shit like that.

honestly.. at this point, ask black people why they have to rely on the japanese/white people to make games that have black characters? lawl. seems they always advocate for "black only" or "black owned" maybe they can make a black only game company and make a game.

This is the same reason why tattoos, piercings, neon hair, and just general "alt" fashion has become so cringe. Not because of the thing in itself, but because of the kind of insufferable weaselly shitbags who tend to wear that stuff. Conspicuous "diversity" used to just be an aesthetic quirk, but now it's a signal that some spoiled brats who only ended up in their positions because they got on the track from private high school to expensive liberal arts college to the corporate bureaucracy deliberately placed that shit in there as a middle finger to anyone who's not part of their soylennial bay area milieu.
