They would never do it. Not only would it be an admission of failure and better quality then what they currently produce, it would be giving fans what they want, and you cannot have that in current year.
Yeah, it's more likely they'd reboot it and retcon the 1st Doctor as a black trans lesbian in a wheelchair.
