Why fkn make another LoTR movie about one character when there's an entire book of Silmarrilion with dozens of really good stories and ideas...
Reading the silmarillion instead of watching a movie and writing shitty fanfiction would be closer to work.
Hollywoke is going up in flames. They're hoping to capitalize on the LOTR brand but Amazon may have irreparably damaged it already.
Because Gollum won them a lot of awards and prestige in the LotR movies. So if they put him in again, they will continue to get prestige and accolades.
