It's a great business move.

So far Nijisanji has a track record of mismanagement with talented individuals to the point of abuse with some compared to defending at all costs the more toxic talents that have their own clique.

The 'refugees' that are coming out currently are all the ones that have been abused with dedicated audiences that will follow them, only need a little bit of investment with light management due to having to do it all themselves previously and have a positive personality which is why they were isolated from the 'mean girls club'

They should only stop this when Nijisanji EN goes to shit as then it's the rats fleeing the ship but for now, it's nothing but good press for them for the majority of the time.
