Well don't forget that Vic Mignogna was Junpei. Two major characters recast because "politics" was a shitstorm they wouldn't be able to weather.
Vic Mignogna, Chuck Huber, Quinton Flynn, Wally Wingert, Karen Strassman, and to a lesser extent Reuben Langdon.
They don't care how good you are at your job. Otherwise they wouldn't have brought in Ronda Rousey for that MK game.

Wingert is believed to have once exploded into a political rant in the recording studio, and that was the end of his anime career.
One wonders how Caitlin Glass, who is just as devout a Christian as Vic to the point she once did Sunday panels with him, still has a career. She's still the voice of Street Fighter's Cammy.
I just recently found out that he and his wife are fans of Razorfist. His wife was superchatting during one of the Dark Forces Remastered streams (I believe it was during the glacial robotics facility).
