I won't play a video game if there's no white man to select unless the video game is made my another culture and/or setting specifically designed such that I wouldn't expect to find a White man like a Japanese game or China game.

This is the problem, they're 'current day'ing' fiction! That wheelchair in D&D is a big example. It just shows how untalented they are.

Like if I was making a game that wasn't as restricted in setting I'd just go 'character selection, White, Black, Asian, Latin and Middle East ok now can we also add some cool shit like a cyborg, demon or even some eldritch horror shit our players can choose from?'. White should just be a default with the other races of humanity.
