I meant the buildings themselves. I meant the fact that people over centuries worked on some of the most magnificent structures that have ever been built, with everyone from poor to rich contributing to the effort, with workmen, masons and architects working on structures they would not see completed in their own lifetimes, with them crafting all sorts of detail in places that would never, ever be seen, all for the love of their god and savior, and in order to elevate worshipers of that god.
