Gosh, I wish we could tell him we were just expressing our opinions like he was doing and he was actually sort of hurt that we thought that way about him. I mean damn, it's not like I wasn't even that hostile, it was just more of a mild disappointment. At this point, we just have to kiss his ass and be yesman. If he's like this and I don't want to find out how worse the rest of academics are. That's a very scary thought how thin-skinned most of them are. They can dish out the insults yet they fold at the mildest criticism. That really explains the current society as a whole.
