Brimshae is right. The VA have been abject scum for decades. They psychologically destroyed my family members, have a long history of abuse and neglect, and were only partly reformed post-9/11.
There were still bed-ridden veterans who's sores were covered in maggots from neglect in 2006.
Even during the Obamacare arguments some of my biggest arguments against government run healthcare was: "Have you even seen the VA?"
