Imagine what he'll do if his friends had political or religious points of view that he disagreed with.....

I know it's tired but...projection! Pretty much all studies (I know, I know) agree that liberals/leftists/progressives are less tolerant toward opposing views than right/conservatives.

Also, it's ironic, given that even in the post they're mocking, his friends left him, not vice versa. It's high level mental gymnastics to turn it around and make him the intolerant one.
