For Last Avatar:

1st season good start off

2nd season better

3rd season masterpiece

For legend of Korra:

1st season ok start off

2nd season apart from a good funny side character/minor villain introduced, really bad despite providing a good avatar origin story

3rd Every story BUT Korra's was great

4th Other than old woman Toph, awful.
