Funny review of the game that also makes fun of journos, twitter twats and their "controversies".
Comparing that man's cataclysmic firebombing terrorism footage he recorded with the moderately incompetent ditzy behavior I've seen from the couple Vtubers I've watched play is night and day. I've seldom had the stark difference between men and women playing games highlighted so vividly before.
I think it is racism. Same people that hate pal world probably hates stellar blade and elden ring.

PalWorld: Vs Nintendo
There is some push for Nintendo to be scared of PalWorld. A lot of it feels manufactured. It's not this small game, but the bigger companies trying to use it to declare Nintendoomed
https://archive.ph/HysGQ
Nintendo says they will investigate any infringement of their IP, but does not name PalWorld directly. The article reads like they totally are.

The company that made it is not worried about a lawsuit. They made sure to not step on Nintendo’s toes when designing it.

PalWorld: Vs Pokemon
Palworld vs Pokemon direct comparison

Some designers are saying this is too close to Pokemon to be original. To be honest, the reporters are really fanning the flames and trying to aim the discussion in all of these articles. The kid at school yelling, Fight Fight Fight when two bruisers accidently bump Into each other.

There is speculation that the game will be ported to Switch … which means a Pokemon DLC would be perfect.

PalWorld: Liar
It turns out the guy who accused PalWorld of being a thief was stretching the truth at least a little.

Some people believe he was showing a truth and try to prove it's all thievery

Makes me wonder which Pal would be best to put a Ladydevimon model over.
Felbat
Fleek is pretty good. He became big during the Saints Row reboot disaster and speaks alot of truth about current gaming. Budget Cuts and all that.
after breath of the wild, I'm pretty burnt out on Survivalcraft games. would this game be an exception, or is it just the most survival craftiest of Survivalcraft games?
It's a great game. Granted, I've avoided MOST games released after 2017. So if it's just a jumble of popular mechanics, it's new to me
From what I've seen, it's nothing but a mishmash of whatever is popular in the most popular games. It doesn't get more generic than that. It's only sold well because people are starved for a pokemon-like and the controversy's marketing.
People complaining about "all these Palworld haters" just come off as desperate to be counterculture. I really don't know where all these supposed "Pokémon fanboys" are. Sure, I've seen a few troll "Nintendo is gonna sue!" posts, and I'm sure you could find a few Pokémon zealots if you really wanted to dig, but none of this feels organic. Journalists and YouTube video makers invent large swaths of people for clicks and views.
