Sorry long story: On reddit, in right wing subs, there's always accounts that come in and pull shitty leftist come backs in the comments. That's the only thing that these accounts do for the most part. When you argue back with them, they always use the same argument style. Hard to explain the pattern exactly but it just doesn't feel human (even less than a real leftist..). One example is that they'd link you articles that don't even make sense to their arguments. Also, they always take about the same amount of time to reply. They don't seem to have real memories of past exchanges either.
Anyways, I suspected they were bots so one day I decided to find more concrete evidence that they were. Basically I would send a reply to their comments with things that would make a real human react a certain way.. for example, I'd ask, "do you like bananas" or some random shit super out of topic that would make a real human ask "wtf". Things like that. I didn't get a single reply. Fair enough, maybe they just decided to ignore it, that's plausible.. but then I thought "maybe they only react to leftist topics".. so I asked them "define sex and gender".. surprise! They pushed out a chat gpt response within seconds with the formatting and all. Then Id ask them to define something random like a zebra or whatever and boom, they'd reply again with the chat gpt output. Then I'd ask if they like zebras or dumb shit and they'd reply with ✌️ emoji and stop replying..
Anyways, I didn't investigate further but I'm confident these are in fact bots. And real people keep arguing with them. These bots are only posting on right wing subs so I assume that the intention there is demoralization, fanning the flame and wasting people's time.. but of course I'm sure there's other types that post pro-leftist bullshit elsewhere for the same purpose as the OP. Idk who the fuck does this but it's probably weaponized autism.

From my experience of arguing with strangers on social media, at the very least right wingers/conservatives are more likely to engage in good faith. Leftist tends to have this self inflated moral high ground and would usually reply with condescending tone in their choice of words. Honest sometimes it does feel like im arguing with bots when it comes to the left.
The more I argued with them, the better I came to know their dialectic. First they counted on the stupidity of their adversary, and then, when there was no other way out, they themselves simply played stupid. If all this didn't help, they pretended not to understand, or, if challenged, they changed the subject in a hurry, quoted platitudes which, if you accepted them, they immediately related to entirely different matters, and then, if again attacked, gave ground and pretended not to know exactly what you were talking about. Whenever you tried to attack one of these apostles, your hand closed on a jelly-like slime which divided up and poured through your fingers, but in the next moment collected again. But if you really struck one of these fellows so telling a blow that, observed by the audience, he couldn't help but agree, and if you believed that this had taken you at least one step forward, your amazement was great the next day. The jew had not the slightest recollection of the day before, he rattled off his same old nonsense as though nothing at all had happened, and, if indignantly challenged, affected amazement; he couldn't remember a thing, except that he had proved the correctness of his assertions the previous day. Sometimes I stood there thunderstruck. I didn't know what to be more amazed at: the agility of their tongues or their virtuosity at lying. Gradually I began to hate them.
