The story is not good. It is however very nicely acted and if you are a child you may not realize that the story is bad. I've been looking back at stuff I liked as a child and it was incredibly bad.
I mentioned this in one of my rants, the story itself is that this dude managed to trick Mephistopheles, the second most powerful archdevil in forgotten realms. Devils are not just powerful but extremely intelligent.
This guy, in the story is kind of meh at most, he shows no signs of anything, no charisma, no intelligence, nothing. He is the most boring bad guy I've ever seen in a game. But he somehow managed to trick this extremely powerful being. Not only that he got a crown that gives the power of a god in exchange for his soul.
Now what does he do with the crown, he gives it to an elder brain - one of the most intelligent creatures in the universe, in the hopes of controlling it in order to stage an invasion on Bladurs Gate and then make himself the de facto ruler of a city. Not only that, he trusts 2 other people to share in his plan.
So use the power of a god in the stupidest way possible to become mayor for life. There is also a surprise Pikachu moment went he realizes that the brain played him.
What it lacks in coherent story it makes up in genital customization, sex and gay stuff.
That’s what I hear. I’ve heard it’s a good storyline but very sexual. Does it force you into gay relationships? Were the first two games like this?
