Its why people who are all "detransers and 'based' trannies are fine" are such morons.
There's no such thing as a based tranny. The situation with the detransitioners is tough though. We shouldn't deny grooming victims who detransition a way back, or anyone who genuinely repents from the cult. But you do identify a problem: If troons ever lose their holy status they're going to detransition en masse like rats fleeing a sinking ship, and that's something we need to watch out for if the media ever starts platforming detransitioners.

A huge portion, possibly even the majority, of rapists and child molesters were victims of the same thing themselves as children. We don't give them an inch of sympathy or leeway when they commit the same act later, nor should we.
You can't be a tranny within being a part of the cult, and participating in some form of their social media. You don't troon in silence, you actively contribute to its normalization by either speaking to others about it or showing it off.
That means no matter how "groomed" you were, your actions after at best helped contribute to a culture that will cause a large number more to also troon out. And if you ever even spoke to a "confused" person, you directly contributed to their "grooming."
Detrans-ers will always speak out against how bad it was, but I've yet to see any one of them own up to what they themselves did. Because they all just want to be victims, and that victimhood might get questioned if they were caught bragging about how awesome it was on Twitter. That's also why all the detrans-ers seem to be women at that.
Its always about attention and victimhood. I don't see a point in "leaving them a way back" until they are willing to actively repent for their part in contributing to it to begin with. Because otherwise you are just letting a crying girl get away with something because "girl sad :("
