I'm noticing a trend where Desantis supporters think they're smarter than everyone else....almost like dems do

Yeah, I get that. But as I said in another comment, it's still worth criticizing these people if they're upset in stupid or condescending ways. People are absolutely free to pick their preferred horse in the race, and they're free to care if things don't go their way. But act like a jackass, and you get called out. This goes for Trump supporters too, by the way. I don't like them suddenly turning on Vivek (despite me never supporting his candidacy), for example. It was manufactured and lame. Generally not a good look.
So, yeah, I get Larry's disappointment. But he's taking it out in a weird direction, and being a bit of a bitch about it.
Absolutely. But I'd say that it's worthwhile to try to be a little patient with people who get things largely right. Gently correcting people has far more effect than anathematizing them (not saying you're doing this), particularly when they're not truly lost.
If Birdbrain had won, we'd be acting like jackasses, and rightly so.
Yeah, I don't understand people who say that they wouldn't vote for RDS over Biden.
Yeah, but me criticizing Larry Correia has no impact on him. And I still like him, and am a fan of his work. I'm not throwing him out or saying he's irredeemable, or even needs redeeming. He's allowed his opinions...I just think this collection of opinions is asinine, that's all.
I'd be pissed, and rightly so. I don't think I'd be condescending and a jackass, though. But I could be wrong.
I don't either. Only a few possible justifications come to mind, and I'm not sure any of them get all the way there. 1) You have some dealbreaker, like his anti-free speech bill, and just refuse to vote either way. 2) You think a second Biden term would be preferable in that it might keep the GOP pissed off and retain MAGA attitudes more than if DeSantis were the guy, and roll some of that back, which he's said he will. Again, I don't agree with either of those as a reason not to vote for him, but I can sort of see why some people would. If DeSantis is the guy (and I think Trump not being the guy was legitimate) I'll very likely vote DeSantis, even though I'm not a huge fan.
