If was going to go tin foil/Alex Jones on this, I'd probably say they have to act that way to keep their sponsors because they want to sell the message that you can freely travel around the world to 'explore different cultures' and in turn unconsciously support more globalist policies since if we can travel freely anywhere, why do we need national governments when we can have one global one...
But if I was to approach with my jaded outlooks on life, it's probably because they lack the talent of the bigger vloggers that travel around but can easily survive on patrons alone so need to be a passive wall that can easily be plastered on by advertisers.
The most I watch in travel stuff is either historical stuff, some Japan abd a lot of abandoned places because I have a slight interest in restoration work.
I always have to bring up ChuckE2009 (former million+ sub welding youtuber) when the subject comes up because it's so wild and the exact opposite of what you expect a big youtuber to do.
Had sponsorships with the big welding companies and made enough money from it to pay for a giant tractor that easily cost six figures so he could quit being a "welding youtuber" to become a "hay farmer youtuber".
Then one day he posts a video of him reading and analyzing the Brendan Tarrant manifesto. Then a couple days later posts a video where he strait up says "yeah I'm a white nationalist. We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children" among other things. Before the video was taken down the comments were split between "based" and "wait I thought this was a welding channel"
Then a couple days later nukes his entire channel. Later on posts on /pol/ that he got a visit from the FBI for making those videos.
I don't really have a point to all this (I guess blog posts beget blog posts), except maybe that I wish more youtubers would go out in the blaze of glory like that.
I don't think he had anything to worry about financially or socially, and what's the point of "fuck you" money if you never use it to say "fuck you"?
Aren't the travel vloggers are doing what you suggest here: they aren't doing "stupid shit" by being honest about the migrants and "fucking [themselves] over financially" by doing so.
Perhaps by showing the migrants at all they're doing the most they can to show that the problem does indeed exist instead of hiding it, even if they ultimately attempt to whitewash over it.
If they aren't making a lot of money on it, then they're certainly not in a "position of 'fuck you'" to do something as normie-suicidal as be critical of the migrant situation in Europe.
The thing that'll piss you off about that story, is that she assaulted him, the cops decided not to take her to jail (because wahmen) like she should've been, and then after he killed her, the big story was "oh those bad cops for not recognizing the signs and he totally should've gone to jail."
After SHE assaulted HIM, the cops are supposed to know he's some psycho killer and run him in.
That was the big take away from it the media was trying to push.
For example I was watching this guy doing a trip through France/Spain all the way to Africa just for the lulz. He was clearly getting harassed by those migrant car washers at some point and just went okay do my helmet ( He was on a scooter ) and decided to go "Wow what an experience" instead of call it like it is.
Now we all know why they fucking do this, it's because inevitably they're hoping for sponsorship by travel companies and they're not going to get any money or could get demonetised if they went I'm not going to France ever again those migrants made everything hell.
Wow, France has Squeegee Guys? One of the things Giuliani did as mayor was get rid of them. What a blight.

There are theme park vloggers. They all do exactly the same thing. Then they wonder why they get low numbers.
Places with significant brown / black migrant populations are dangerous places with shit life quality.
France is no longer France.
It literally makes the japanese sick.

Gabby Petito was boring, and borderline annoying as fuck until Brian Laundrie strangled her to death

Travel vloggers in particular are a special kind of AIDS.
